Divisions & Standards

Milano Throwdown hosts a variety of divisions and levels. Whether it’s indivudal, buddy or triplets shifts from event to event and is always display clearly on the front page and inside Competition Corner.

The levels are however always the same and below you can find the standards for each level:

This division is for the experienced athletes. If you have done most benchmark workouts, have mastered all the RX standards & weights, then you should definitely sign up in this category.

In this division we program:

  • double unders
  • Toes-to-Bar
  • pull-ups
  • C2B pull-ups
  • muscle-ups
  • wall walks
  • handstand push-ups
  • handstand walks
  • heavy wall balls, and
  • RX weights

The RX category is always allowed, unless you have competed in any Elite competition.

Standards:

  • Deadlift = 85/65 kg
  • Snatch = 50/35 kg
  • Clean & Jerk = 60/42,5 kg
  • Dumbbell = 22,5/20 kg
  • Kettlebell = 32/24 kg
  • Wall Ball = 12/9 kg
  • Box (jumps) = 60/50 cm

This division is for all advanced athletes who have mastered most of the standards but don’t reach all RX weights and standards yet.

In this division we program:

  • double unders
  • Toes-to-Bar
  • pull-ups
  • C2B pull-ups
  • wall walks
  • wall balls (6/9 kg), and
  • weightlifting and objects with weights that are slightly lighter than RX.

You may have done a scaled or regular competition before and now you are ready for more challenging standards and weights. You are not allowed to sign up in this division if you already joined the RX division.

Standards:

  • Deadlift = 65/45 kg
  • Snatch = 42,5/30 kg
  • Clean & Jerk = 50/35 kg
  • Dumbbell = 20/15 kg
  • Kettlebell = 24/16 kg
  • Wall Ball = 9/6 kg
  • Box (jumps) = 60/50 cm

If you have been doing this sport for a while, have already mastered the scaled weights & skills and are looking for an extra push, then you should sign up in this division.

In this division we program:

  • double unders
  • single leg T2B
  • pull-ups
  • wall walks
  • wall balls (4/6 kg), and
  • weightlifting and objects with slightly heavier weights than scaled but not too heavy.

You may have done a scaled competition before, but not an advanced or RX, and you are ready for the next step.

Standards:

  • Deadlift = 55/35 kg
  • Snatch = 30/25 kg
  • Clean & Jerk = 42,5/30 kg
  • Dumbbell = 15/10 kg
  • Kettlebell = 24/16 kg
  • Wall Ball = 9/6 kg
  • Box (jumps) = 60/50 cm

This division is beginner level. It is perfect for people who are new to the sport & for beginner athletes, meaning you won’t get heavy weights or difficult skills.

In this division we program:

  • single unders
  • ring rows or jumping pull-ups
  • knee raises
  • scaled wall walks
  • wall balls (4/6 kg), and
  • weightlifting and objects with light weights

If you have already joined a competition in a higher division, or reached the finals of scaled competition as an individual athlete, you are not allowed to sign up in this division. Level up and choose for one of the next divisions.

Standards:

  • Deadlift = 45/25 kg
  • Snatch = 20/15 kg
  • Clean & Jerk = 30/25 kg
  • Dumbbell = 10/7 kg
  • Kettlebell = 16/12 kg
  • Wall Ball = 6/4 kg
  • Box (step-up) = 60/50 cm

The workouts will be the same as the scaled division for the parents meaning, you won’t get heavy weights or difficult skills.

In this division we program:

  • single unders
  • ring rows or jumping pull-ups
  • knee raises
  • scaled wall walks
  • wall balls (6/4 kg), and
  • weightlifting and objects with light weights

The scaled workout will be scaled for the kids.

Standards for parents:

  • Deadlift = 45/25 kg
  • Snatch = 20/15 kg
  • Clean & Jerk = 30/25 kg
  • Dumbbell = 10/7 kg
  • Kettlebell = 16/12 kg
  • Wall Ball = 6/4 kg
  • Box (step-up) = 60/50 cm

Standards for kids:

  • Deadlift = Empty Barbell
  • Snatch = Dumbbell
  • Clean & Jerk = Dumbbell
  • Dumbbell = 7/5/3 kg
  • Kettlebell = 12/8/4 kg
  • Wall Ball = 6/4 kg
  • Box (step-up) = 60/50 cm
